Black Bean Pasta Salad

Yield: Serves 4. 1 cup per serving.

8 ounces macaroni, dry
1 cup boiled black beans, drained
2 cups low-fat, low-sodium pasta sauce
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tablespoon parmesan cheese

Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain in colander.

Combine the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil in a sauce pan. Add the pasta and stir well.

Serve warm or chilled. This pasta salad goes well with a tossed salad.
