Berry Brulee

Berry Brulee Photo Yield: 4 servings - 1/2 cup each.



2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar

In a 9-inch pie plate, combine berries and sugar. Let stand 5 minutes and then stir in red wine vinegar.

Meanwhile, preheat broiler. In a small bowl, stir together sour cream and yogurt. Spoon evenly over berries. Sprinkle with brown sugar.

Broil berries 4 inches from the heat until sugar melts, about 1-2 minutes.

Serve hot.
