Baked Apples

A tried and true recipe for any lowfat dessert lover!



  • 6 or 8 apples
  • 1 can diet cherry cola
  • Raisins, if desired
  • Ground Cinnamon to taste


  1. Core apples and place in Pyrex baking dish
  2. Stuff cavity with raisins, if so desired
  3. Pour one can diet soda over apples
  4. Bake in moderate oven (350 to 375 degrees) until apples are tender
  5. For a decadent touch, add two tablespoons of fat free sugar free non-dairy whipped topping
