Peppered Salmon Steaks

A light and healthy dinner, peppered salmon will fit into your diet.


Yield: Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbs. cracked black pepper
  • 1 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. seasoning salt
  • 4 salmon steaks, cut 3/4 inch thick
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Lemon slices and parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
  2. In a small bowl, combine pepper, ginger, and seasoning salt
  3. Press lightly into both sides of salmon steaks
  4. Arrange steaks in a single layer in a greased shallow baking pan
  5. Drizzle with butter
  6. Bake, basting once with pan juices, until fish is opaque, about 15 minutes
  7. Garnish with lemon slices and parsley
  8. Drizzle with pan juices
