Orange Chocolate Ice Cream

Orange and chocolate provide a wonderful combination.

Nutrition Facts: Carbohydrates 8.4g
Yield: Serves 6


  • 2 oz unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 Tbs. butter
  • 2 packages unflavored gelatin
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 1 tsp. grated orange peel
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup Splenda
  • 1/8 cup unsweetened cocoa powder


  1. Melt chocolate with butter
  2. Place the gelatin in a small bowl
  3. Add 1 cup boiling water and orange peel
  4. Stir until gelatin in dissolved
  5. Add ice
  6. Beat whipping cream
  7. Add Splenda and cocoa powder
  8. Slowly add in chocolate mixture
  9. Then add gelatin mixture
  10. Beat well
  11. Chill for at least 3 hours
