Oprah's Pomegranate Martini

Oprah and Rachael Ray mix-up a super fruit cocktail.

Oprah's Pomegranate Martini Photo
Yield: Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups pomegranate juice
  • 2 oz. Absolute Citron vodka OR white tequila
  • 1 oz. Cointreau liquor
  • Cup of ice
  • Optional: Splash of sparkling water
  • Optional: Squeeze of lemon

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in martini shaker, shake well
  2. Pour into two chilled martini glasses
  3. Garnish with pomegranate or lemon twirls

i use the POM brand pomegranate juice. seems to be the most pure and natural- not to mention i just like the flavor. i also used the citron vodka- not tequila and i used a squeeze of lime instead of lemon. Seriously- the best coktail i think i've ever had!!
