
Atkins Friendly Recipe
Low Carb Chili
Now you can have chili without the carbs.
Yield: Serves 6
Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
- 1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
- 1- 14 oz. can tomatoes, with juice
Instructions
- Cook the bacon until crisp in a large pot, then remove bacon
- Saute turkey in the bacon drippings
- Add garlic, green pepper, cumin, and chili powder
- Add remaining ingredients
- Crumble bacon and return with the turkey to the pot
- Simmer for 25 minutes
