Italian Dressing
A tantalizing combination of aromatic herbs, olive oil and lemon zest.
Yield: Serves 4
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 Tbs. minced red bell pepper
- 1 Tbs. chopped basil
- 1 Tbs. white wine vinegar
- 2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. grated lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves, crumbled
- 1/8 tsp. freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine all the ingredients
- Cover and shake well
- Refrigerate, covered, overnight
- Shake again before serving
