Homemade Granola
So good you won't believe it's sugar free!
Yield: Makes 6 ½ cups (½ cup per serving)
Ingredients
- 4 c. quick cooking rolled oats
- ½ c. Grape Nuts cereal
- Granulated sugar sub. equal to 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. chopped peanuts
- ⅓ c. honey
- ½ c. wheat germ
- ½ c. raisins
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Have 2 rimmed baking sheets ready
- Spread oats on one of the ungreased baking sheets; bake 10 minutes
- Combine remaining ingredients except wheat germ and raisins
- Spread mixture on the other baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes, stirring once to brown evenly
- Cool in Oven
- In a large bowl, stir oats, wheat germ and raisins into mixture
- Refrigerate in jars or plastic containers
