Ginger Orange Dressing

Tangy and sweet- perfect for an oriental salad.

Yield: Makes 1/3 Cup

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 4 tsp. canola oil
  • 1 Tbs. minced scallions
  • 1 tsp. minced peeled fresh ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. grated orange zest
  • 1/4 tsp. minced garlic
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk orange juice, oil, scallions, ginger, orange zest, garlic, salt and pepper until well blended
  2. Pour into a sealed container
  3. Refrigerate until ready to serve
  4. Shake before serving

Are you kidding? Canola oil? Oh sure spare the calories and have a heart attack -- hydrogenated fat is bad for us and we now know that!
