Fruity Iced Tea

Cool down in the summer or keep warm in the winter.

Nutrition Facts: Calories 47, Total Fat 0g, Sat Fat 0g, Carbohydrate 12g, Sodium 3mg, Dietary Fiber: less than 1 gram, Protein less than 1g
Yield: Serves 9


  • 6 C. water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp. whole cloves
  • 6 black tea bags
  • 3-4 C. apricot or peach nectar
  • Sugar or honey, to taste (optional)


  1. In large saucepan, simmer water, cinnamon stick and cloves 15 minutes, covered
  2. Turn off heat
  3. Add tea bags
  4. Steep 2-5 minutes, depending on the strength you prefer
  5. Remove tea bags
  6. Add apricot nectar
  7. Add sugar or honey, if desired
  8. Strain to remove spices
  9. Refrigerate until cold, or serve warm
