Frozen Fruit Bars

A juicy little frozen treat with only 29 calories!

Nutrition Facts: 29 calories, .2g Fat, 0mg Cholesterol, .75mg Sodium, 7.1g Carbs, 1.5g Fiber, 5g Sugar, .5g Protein

Yield: 4, 4oz. bars

Ingredients

  • 2 C. summer fruit (pineapple, oranges, cherries, blueberries and strawberries work great)*
  • 1 tsp. sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

**Nutrition Facts represent only strawberries*

Instructions

  1. Puree fruit in blender, adding a tsp. or two of water if necessary
  2. Add sugar (if desired), lemon juice and blend
  3. Pour into bar molds or small cups and insert sticks
  4. Freeze until solid

Great summer treat!

i like this recipe, but when i'm in a bind, i just buy the Dole Frozen Fruit Bars. They work just as well, and have almost as few calories, plus are all-natural. With the grandkids, there are just days I don't have time to make them, so this was a great alternative for me.

Sweet, simple and so juicy. 29 calories for real?!?! My kids and I are making these all summer!

i just made these today. i couldn't believe they were that simple. i made two kinds - cheerries and lime juice for a cherry limeade kind of popsicle and then one with raspberries, blueberries and kiwi. i also used 2 packets of splenda in each instead of sugar. very very tasty!!
