Fresh Squeezed Lemonade with Truvia
The summer's most classic beverage enjoyed for only five calories!
Per serving: Calories 5; Total Fat, 0g; Saturated Fat, 0g; Trans Fat, 0g; Cholesterol, 0mg; Sodium, 0mg; Total Carbohydrate, 9g; Dietary Fiber, 0g; Sugars, 1g; Erythritol, 7g: Protein, 0g; Vitamin A, 0% DV; Vitamin C, 25% DV; Calcium, 0% DV; Iron, 0% DV.Yield: Makes 2 8-ounce servings.
- 1 and 3/4 cups of chilled water
- 4 Tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice*
1 Tbsp + 1/2 tsp Truvia™ natural sweetener spoonable**
about 1 large lemon; best if squeezed at room temperature ** or 4 packets Truvia™ natural sweetener
- Combine ingredients and stir to dissolve.
- Garnish rim of glass with fresh lemon slices or a strawberry, if desired.
- Serve over ice.
Use chilled club soda instead of water to make sparkling lemonade.
Refrigerated 100% lemon juice from concentrate may be substituted for fresh squeezed lemon juice for great lemon flavor with a little less tartness.
