Crock Pot Hot German Potato Salad

A warm and satisfying side dish.

Per Serving: Calories 160; Fat 2g; Saturated Fat 1g; Cholesterol 5mg; Sodium 470mg; Carbohydrate 35g; Fiber 3g; Protein 4g
Yield: Serves 6


  • 5 medium potatoes, cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbs. all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbs. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 slices crispy cooked bacon, crumbled


  1. Mix potatoes and onion in 3 1/2- to 6-quart Crock Pot
  2. Mix remaining ingredients except bacon and pour into Crock Pot
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until potatoes are tender
  4. Stir in bacon

This is a nice side dish to make to go along with your meal. It different then the cold kind of potato salad.
