Crab Cakes
Classic crab cakes with a low-fat angle
Yield: Serves 4
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh crabmeat
- 2 cups soft bread crumbs (4 slices)
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup light mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup each chopped celery, green pepper and onion
- 1/2 Tbs. seafood seasoning
- 1 Tbs. parsley
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients
- Shape into 8 patties
- Broil for 5 minutes each side or until golden brown
