Diets in Review Question

Why am I not losing weight whild doing the Supreme 90 Day workout?

Mak asked this question Feb 26th, 2012 4:17 pm

I really love the workouts, and i can tell im stronger already. I want to lose about 10 pounds so i thought this would be great for that and get a bit stronger. I was all exited to go on the scale until it said i was 2 pounds heavier. Not sure if its because we use a lot of weights or what. I eat pretty good and workout 4-5 times a week. Anyone know why?

You are building a lot of muscle, I can guarantee you ARE dropping the fat you want to lose, but muscle weighs even more than fat.

Sounds like you might not be following the program as designed based on your comments. Are you following the eating plan and the workout calendar?

I agree with Eric. You're losing fat and gaining muscle. Muscle takes up less space than fat but weighs more. When this happened to me, I was very discouraged. So I decided to get rid of my scale. I knew I was in better shape, clothes fitting better, looking better, and feeling better. Just keep working out. Forget the scale. It'll just bring you down.

A lot of people see some weight gain in the beginning of many workout routines, the upside is after your body acclimates to the stress you are putting on it (usually after the first month) you will see the weight dropping.

My weight stayed steady for the first month, and my (cheap) scales told me my body fat stayed the same. Stick with it. From the next month, my weight steadily dropped and my figure got more defined. Just make sure your daily calorie count is reasonable and persevere.
