Ideal Protein meals are made with different types of protein including Soy, Whey, egg whites and beef collagen

IP uses soy protein in most of their products to help boost the amount of protein. The goal is to empty the sugar from the diet, keep your body's protein tank full (retain muscle) so you are burning from your fat storage tank.

I would recommend going to one of their presentations it is very useful
