Is it safe to drink green tea when on warfin?

Does it hurt you to drink the green tea if you are on warfin (blood thinners) I had a heart valve replacement. I need to lose weight really bad . need to know if this is safe for me.

While on warfarin you have to be really careful drinking or consuming anything with green tea. It can decrease your INR. I recommend discussing it with your doctor because if you do wish to try it your dose would have to be increased to compensate.
