On one hand, Gatorade is a palatable source of electrolytes, which can be depleted during exercise or because of other medical conditions. However, there are a number of controversial ingredients, including high fructose corn syrup (with the exception of G2), the artificial sweetener Sucralose and artificial food coloring.
If you are trying to lose weight, I would recommend sticking to water to stay hydrated.
