If you have a blip on phase 2 of the diet, can you restart Dukan Diet at anytime?

I am thinking of starting this diet. I need to lose about 75 lbs and I'm 52. I figure the restrictions are about time for those of us who have had years of consuming anything we want. I'm getting older and my family has Heart disease, diabetes etc. , I don't want these. I want to feel better and get this weight off my poor knees and feet.
