i thought spot training did not "work"

For YEARs the fitness experts have said "spot training does NOT work", is this not what tracy andersons "method" is all about?

Spot reducing does not work. You can lose 10 pounds, but just because you do crunches doesn't mean it's going to come off your abs. Spot training does work. If you work a certain muscle, that muscle will get stronger and more defined. The point is you can't lose fat off a certain area, it comes off spread out all over.
