Diets in Review Question

I am on HCG and am not losing weight like it says I should!

I am trying this new HCG thing and I only want to lose about 15 lbs to 115-120. I am having a hard time losing any weight. I have been on it for almost 2 weeks and have lost 3 lbs! Is it because I do not need to lose like 40 lbs and am not titled "overweight' that it is not working? Please someone write me back. Thanks

Exactly! The more weight the faster you lose.

I think that is probably the reason. Anybody who does this diet and doesn't have very much weight to lose will lose very slowly. If you are extremely obese then you lose weight very quickly. Unless you are quite a small person 115 is a pretty low number to be at. Perhaps simple exercising and diet would be the best way for you to go. HCG seems to be more for people who have large amounts to lose and have not been moving anywhere on the scale with diet and exercise

If you want to lose weight, your best bet is to do the natural way! Eat healthy and exercise. The pounds will melt away. HCG isn't the magic bullet everyone claims it to be. Trust me!

If you've been doing the HCG diet for 2 weeks and have lost only 3 lbs then you are not following the diet. Even without the hcg, with is just something that helps with hunger pangs (since your body is feasting off of the glucose from your fat reserves, if you use the injection type prescribed by a doctor ....homeopathic stuff is a rip-off, not hcg hormone, will lose weight on 500 calories but you'll be hungry the whole time and burn up more muscle than fat). On 500 calories a day for 2 weeks, you'll lose about 10 lbs in 2 weeks of muscle and fat even without hcg (mostly muscle btw, fat is more important to the body than muscle, fat is for survival mode).

My understanding of this diet is that while you are restricted on 500 calories, HCG directs your body to burn/use fat that is commonly and for most women stored around the abdomen, hips, thighs, back and arms. If you didn't have visible fat store in these areas before starting the diet, you will not see it as dramactically as someone who does.

All depends on what kind of hcg you are using and if you are fallowing the protocol,in my opinion,I would only use the shots,to me that's the real deal,great stuff.

I AM ON THE HCG PROTOCOL AS WELL. IVE BEEN ON IT FOR 7 DAYS NOW AND HAVE LOST 5 POUNDS. I WAS ON IT BEFORE AND LOST ABOUT 10 THE FIRST WEEK. THIS TIME IS SO SLOW. I AM GETTING TIRED OF WAITING BUT I WILL. JUST STAY FOCUSED.
