How do Biggest Loser contestants deal with the excess skin that comes with huge weight loss???

From all the weight the contestants lose, they must have a lot of problems with excess skin. Does biggest loser help them with that afterwards, or are they on their own. I would think that having that problem could really make it hard for them to carry on???????

Some do, and some don't. We've stood next to contestants at finale who don't have any excess skin at all, something they were able to control with a monitored weight lifting regimen. We've also known several who have a lot of extra skin and several have undergone skin removal surgery. Most doctors recommend waiting 1-2 years after a significant amount of weight loss before undergoing such a procedure. NBC/Biggest Loser does not offer at-home support for the contestants.
