Losing weight after having a baby is the same as losing any other kind of weight. At the end of the day it all comes down to calories in (the quality and amount of calories you're consuming) vs. calories out (how you're working out to burn calories). You have to create a deficit, burn more than you consume. However, being the mom of a toddler is no easy task, especially with scheduling. So get your toddler involved. Push her in a jogging stroller when you go for a run (it will increase the burn), run and play with her at home or the park, or even attend mommy & me yoga classes. For healthy weight loss, you should consume about 1600 calories a day, but our free health calculator can help you determine the right amount for you.
