No HTML please.
Hair loss may be due to nutritional deficiencies in protein, iron and zinc. Deficiencies can result from crash diets, eating disorders, and poor food choices. But an abnormal amount of hair loss has many possible causes. Medical problems such as thyroid disease and hormonal changes, auto-immune conditions and medication side-effects can lead to hair loss. Hair loss occurs for cosmetic reasons too, including tight hairstyles and chemical processing. Visit your doctor to find out why your hair is falling out. - Mary Hartley, RD for DietsInReview.com
