New York, New York -- June 6, 2010 --  It's "Walnut Week" at DietsInReview.com, as our nutrition expert Rebecca Scritchfield, RD will feature content that highlights the health benefits of the walnut, an underrated nutritional gem.

Rebecca sought out the latest nutrition, culinary, and fitness advice on how to include walnuts as part of a healthy lifestyle. She spoke to renowned fitness expert Petra Kolber, former Google Chef and author of Food 2.0 Charlie Ayers, and cookbook author Mollie Katzen to get their thoughts on staying healthy and enjoying delicious foods that include walnuts.

"For a bumpy nut, walnuts are nutritionally well-rounded," says dietitian Rebecca Scritchfield. "They have the highest level of heart-healthy fats and they have protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals. People still worry about the fats in nuts so I wanted to spend an entire week on the health and culinary benefits."

In addition to a week of exclusive interviews, DietsInReview.com has also added eight new walnut recipes, courtesy of California Walnuts. For starters, try this Walnutty Egg and Bell Pepper Gratin for breakfast.
