Each month in the print edition of Redbook Magazine, they run a feature called the "Mommy Blogger Face-off," in which two mommy bloggers weigh-in on a debatable issue, each taking an opposing position. In the March 2011 issue of Redbook, our Chief Mom, Carmen Staicer, was featured as the pro position on children's diets.

Her take was one of not putting children on diets, so much as teaching them healthy food habits so that they grow to have a healthy relationship on food that they can maintain long in to adulthood. "It's not about fat or skinny-it's about creating good habits that will last a lifetime," commented Carmen.

Look for Carmen's take, as well as her opposition's, Liz Nord from SecretsofMoms.com, in the March 2011 print edition of Redbook, featuring Miranda Lambert on the cover.
