The unofficial start of summer is just three weeks away - are you ready? We're not necessarily talking about fitting in those polka-dot bikinis (although, we all know that's on everybody's minds), but instead how you're going to get through one of the most calorie-fueled weekends on the U.S. calendar.
Between the beers, barbecues, snacks, cakes, and even homemade ice cream, the work you've done toward your resolution can be undone faster than you can say the Pledge of Allegiance.
So start thinking about your Memorial Day plans now. If you're hosting, start organizing your menu to include healthful recipes that still satisfy those traditional flavors everyone loves. If you've been invited to a party, make sure the hostess knows you want to contribute by bringing one or a couple of dishes. And don't give up your exercise regimen, the fitter you are on the 30th the better you'll feel about passing on seconds when you can see (and feel) all your hard work!
