The asian way diet involves eatings lots of vegetables, lean protein and complex carbohydrates together with your favorite exercise, to lose fats and weight, and to gain optimal health.

I am on Low Carb, Low Fat, High Fiber, High Protein and brisk walking an hour 5 times a week. I have lost 31 lbs/14kg and have been maintaining 108lbs/49 kg for 1&1/2 years now. I enjoy tremendous reduction in cholesterol, triglycerides levels and high blood pressure.

Wow- that sounds almost too good to be true. I know the Asian population has a slim obese population and Japanese women were just announced to have the longest lifespan of females on Earth (60 Minutes I think). Something must be working!

108 pounds sounds so skinny- are you very short? A weight that low could honestly be dangerous and unhealthy for some.

Thanks for sharing this great info Xiaozhen!!

I am only 5'2 and according to the Asian BMI, I am a 21. That's mid range and so, no, I am not at all skinny. Razz

Wow xiaozhen. Your diet sounds so healthy.

I admire Asian women and find myself green with envy when I fly via Singapore Airlines or other Asian airlines. You guys must be doing a lot of good to your body. Not only do you keep the weight off...you also manage to avoid many diseases. Hats off to you!
