BACKGROUND

The popular Weight Watchers program brings another product to its arsenal of resources by introducing these DVD kits, but they are available to anyone, not just Weight Watchers members. The three kits are: Belly, Butt & Thighs, Punch!, and Yoga Starter Kit. Each comes with a DVD with several workout levels, the equipment used in the DVD, and an exercise tracker. For the DVDs, Weight Watchers partners with popular fitness instructors to give followers safe and effective workouts suitable for many age levels. The yoga DVD is led by Sara Ivanhoe, who has also worked on the series "Yoga for Dummies," while the other two kits feature Stephanie Huckabee, author of the PowerFit DVD series.

EXERCISE

**The Belly, Butt & Thighs **comes with a DVD with 3 workout levels, a stability ball, ring, and pump, and an exercise tracker. This workout's aim is to tone your body and strengthen your muscles. The three workouts led by Huckabee are designed for either beginners, intermediates, or advanced participants, and range from thirty to forty five minutes long. The stability ball ring makes it easy for beginners to keep the ball in place while trying new moves.

Weight Watchers' Punch! DVD comes with three-quarter pound weighted gloves and an exercise tracker, and is also led by Huckabee. Cardio boxing is a fast-paced workout full of squats, punches and kicks intended to be high energy but low impact on the joints. It also has three workouts for each fitness level ranging from thirty to forty five minutes.

The Yoga Starter Kit offers two workouts and comes with a yoga strap, yoga block, and exercise tracker. One workout is designed for a shorter yoga practice, while the other is for those who want to practice yoga longer. Instructor Ivanhoe emphasizes keeping the stretches safe while incorporating easier and more challenging poses for those who need to modify. The block and strap help in modifying the exercises as well as assist in stretching and toning.

The ten week exercise tracker lets you record your weekly goals, then document what daily fitness you perform as well as its intensity and duration. Writing down goals and accomplishments is a proven way to help achieve results.
