NutriMirror can be used in conjunction with any diet plan. You receive a breakdown of calories, fat grams, vitamins, minerals, fiber and carbohydrates after entering in a snack or a meal.

It also highlights what nutrients you are keeping in your target range and which ones are out of your target range. For instance, if you already consumed enough saturated fat for the day once you entered your lunch information, then the number of fat grams will be shown in red, alerting you to pay attention to your saturated fat intake for the rest of the day.

EXERCISE

NutriMirror does not formulate an exercise program for you but it computes and reports the impact of all your elective exercises on your calorie balance via the Exercise Log. After selecting the type of exercise, the duration and intensity, your Exercise Log will give you a synopsis of how many calories your burned. You can also set weekly exercise goals and view a detailed report that tracks how well you have adhered to these goals.

Since finding this site, I have lost 8 lbs & gotten a REAL eye-opening experience as far as what I put into my body. I am so grateful for this site as it is TOTALLY user-oriented & does not try to sell you ANYTHING.

If you truly want (& can appreciate) a analytic approach to keeping your diet in check, then NutriMirror is for you !

I have never seen a nutrition analysis like this site does. It is fabulous. I am able to make sure that I am getting all the nutrition I should have while maintaining my blood glucose (I am a diabetic). Thank you Nutrimirror hosts for the tool to make me healthier!

I have used this site for 5 months now and it has not only educated me, but it keeps me accountable to everything I eat. On days when I don't want to exercise it also motivates me to get that done.

I've been using NutriMirror for about a month. It has been an educational tool that is slowly sinking in. Today I realized the nutrients I've been lacking and so added dietary supplements. I've lost 4 pounds and am diligent about daily entries. I believe this tool will help me to reach my weight loss goal.

I am so glad I found this site. It lets me keep track of all aspects regarding my weight loss goals. I especially like that I am able to calculate a nutritional analysis of what I eat. I don't have to follow any "new and exotic" recipes like those found in traditional weight loss books. I plug in what I eat and tadah! there it is, calorie count, carbs, fats everything. I really like that!

I have been using Nutrimirror since June 2008. When I found it by searching on the Internet, I was pleasantly surprised that it was FREE. It is very easy to use, helps keep me on track, and provides gentle reminders when I have not logged in, exercised, or weighed for a few days. It works well for me. I have lost approximately 18 lbs and improved my health. Thumbs up for this great tool!!

I have tried NutriMirror and left for a while to use another online food log because it had a much larger database of foods. However, my progress dropped off almost immediately. I lost my motivation, and in retrospect, I think it was for three reasons:

1. Nutrimirror's layout isn't cluttered with ads, and it is easy to read and navigate.
2. The visual impact of the red/green analysis is just fantastic. If I'm in the green, I know I'm eating well. If anything is in the red, I instantly know it's a problem area for the day and I need to take a closer look. For some reaon, seeing these things displayed only as a numerical percentage doesn't have the same effect on me.
3. As the day progresses, I know exactly how many calories I have left for weight maintenance AND for weight loss according to the goal I set for myself. Last night, I knew I had a certain number of calories left, and I also knew from the red/green analysis that I was short on calcium. I headed straight for the fridge for a glass of skim milk.

Bottom line: I get better results using NutriMirror than using a paper food log or the other web-based log I've tried, which was The Daily Plate.

I've been using this for a while. The charts are easy to read and follow. If something is red I click on it and find out what happened. Too much of something or not enough. It's figured to my needs. I love it. If it's Green, i'ts ok.
