LaBlast is a cardio-dance workout class created by Dancing with the Stars professional dancer Louis Van Amstel. It's a partnerless dance class the combines ballroom dances into a unique fitness routine. The dance routines are set to a range of high-energy music, including pop, rock, hip hip, disco and even country for a club-like atmosphere.
Although the popularity of LaBlast is growing, classes are offered in a limited number of locations. Classes can be found in New York, Boston, Colorado, Southern California, Colorado, Florida and San Francisco. LaBlast is also offered in Van Amstel's home country of Holland.

There are five levels of LaBlast classes. Level 1 Beginner is designed for people who have no experience with ballroom dancing. As you move up in level, the classes incorporate both more difficult choreography and a more challenging fitness routine.
