This was an all around bad experience for me. I told the trainer my goals (lose weight & run a marathon) and after 3 weeks, my program still wasn't reflecting my latter goal. And I never got my plan for the week until 8-9 pm the night before the week started. It was a total waste of my time and money. Luckily, customer service refunded the rest of the contract after I complained. Of course, they forgot to tell the trainer....

I've been using FitOrbit for over 6 months. I love it. I am a busy mom of four children and a wife to a busy husband. My trainer has been very responsive. We are vegetarian so he picked a diet without meat. Trainers can pick diets that are gluten-free, dairy free, etc, if you request it. The exercises have been wonderful. I have worked out for 30 years so I needed something different. The exercises have been great. We've incorporated kettle bells, free weights, step exercises, yoga, spinning, and much more. It's been a wonderful experience and I highly recommend Hal W. as a trainer.

Let me start off by saying that when I first heard of it I thought fitorbit was a perfect match for me. Fitorbit is a good concept however the trainers and the interface need some work. I purchased a plan for 6 months for around $200 through the Jackie Warner site and I am so upset. The customer service is mediocre at best and the trainers don't respond to messages or your personal fitness goals. I purchased this program because I thought it would give me the personal interaction that I desired in an online format. Wrong!!! When your trainer doesn't respond to your messages it makes two way communication very difficult. When I emailed the help desk they said I should send her a message. My response was, I should send her a message to her why she didn't respond to my message; insane!!!! The fitness plans are not customized but seem to come from master database that they just throw in there according to what fitness equipment you have available. I thought this would be a good alternative to hiring a gym type personal trainer but I could not be more unhappy with my purchase.

Furthermore, the interface for the program is crappy. It asks you for your preferences but doesn't take them in considersation. You cannot switch days if you miss or day and it is a pain to add foods to your plan. There needs to be more edit functions and more selections. Until the make a program....it's on to the next one:)

The trainer that I chose has been very responsive to my questions, concerns and feedback. The meals are simple to prepare and only require a bit of planning to stay track. i do find myself shopping weekly as I must by fresh produce weekly. All in all I am pleased!

I went into fit orbit very excited. I have been completely disappointed. I could only choose from about 7 trainers. The website asks for my preferences- but when I received my meal plan there were not any foods that I had suggested I like, when I asked my trainer about it, he never responded. The workouts were not hard either- I have been working out for about 10 years and just needed more guidance about how heavy of weight to use and how many reps to see the best results, but the exercises were all beginners.

I did contact the company and they said this was not a usual experience for their customers and that they would gladly connect me with a different trainer. I haven't taken them up on it, but they were willing to fix the problem (whether this is just a problem with this trainer or with all then I don't know.)

If I had to do it over again, from the level of contact I actually have with the trainer, I would rather pay a trainer at my gym to give me a training schedule, because I didn't think there was very much accountability.

The actual website was just ok. I have used the GoWearFit- theirs has to be the best website I have seen. So this one lacked in how much information it was analyzing, I couldn't see what the macros were that I was eating at the end of the day. It took a long time to log if I ate anything else than what was o n the plan (but hey, maybe that is a good thing?)

Fit Orbit is awesome. I have been training online with my trainer Jillian for 2 weeks. She made me a plan with exercises, workouts, meals, recipes, and grocery lists, i like how interactive the system is and how she can adjust my plan for last minutes things that come up!
