The Biggest Loser TV show has garnered countless fans and inspired those that want to lose weight. Most people feel that they could never get cast on the show, but there are ways that you can follow along with the contestants and create your own success story. BiggestLoser.com, formerly known as Biggest Loser Club, is an online version of the diet and exercise program that the contestants follow at the Biggest Loser ranch. Trainer Bob Harper, a renowned personal trainer, says that those following the home-version likely will not realize the same results as those on the show simply due to circumstance. The contestants are in a highly focused environment for 12 weeks or more, without influence of typical daily stressors like children, work and chores.
BiggestLoser.com's online tools give you specialized menus based on your preferences and tracks your exercise. You won’t have to eat anything you don’t like while on this program, which is a plus. You will be eating three meals and three snacks each day so hunger shouldn’t be a problem either. For your meals, there are included recipes and a tie in so that you can move meals to your food journal. You don’t have to count calories, carbohydrates or fat when following the Biggest Loser diet.
All of the numbers are worked out for you based on the information you provide in the online dashboard. If you are looking for a vegetarian meal plan or want to exclude certain things from your diet, those options are available. There are charts to keep up with your progress and message boards so that you can chat with other members. You will also find videos and motivational articles throughout the site. With each new season of the show, BiggestLoser.com stays updated with the contestants and trainers.
The Biggest Loser TV show has continued to grow in popularity with each season as contestants work to lose weight and become the winner of the coveted $250,000 grand prize. The winner is the person who loses the highest percentage of weight at the end of the season. There is also an at-home prize of $100,000 that the eliminated contestants compete for.
The Biggest Loser season 14 premiered in January 2013 with trainers Bob Harper, Jillian Michaels, and Dolvett Quince and a new batch of 18 contestants. For the first time ever, three of those contestants are teens. The program has grown in popularity so much that there are versions of the show airing in numerous other countries around the world.
Those who want the full Biggest Loser experience can also check out the Biggest Loser Resort with locations in Ivins, Utah, Malibu, California, and Niagra, New York.

You can select the weekly view so that you know what you will be eating in the days to come and can shop accordingly. The site offers a shopping list so that you know exactly which foods to purchase to prepare all of your meals each week. There is a daily analysis breakdown on the site for your meals, this shows the target ranges for your calories, carbs, fiber, protein, fat and sodium.
You'll also have access to many delicious healthy recipes that are enjoyed by the show's contestants, most of which can be found in the show's series of cookbooks developed by Chef Devin Alexander. Some of these tempting dishes include:
To personalize your plan on BiggestLoser.com, you can select which days you want to do cardio and which days you want to strength train. It is recommended that you avoid strength training on consecutive days though. Your workout assignments will be directly based on the information you enter. Just like with the diet preferences, you can change your fitness preferences at any time. You are able to choose your cardio and strength training exercises. The amount of calories you should burn during your workout is listed so you can select anything that will help you burn that amount of calories.
There is a tutorial on how to choose the proper exercise. This tutorial will help you choose the proper intensity and determine the proper heart rate range for your workout. Keep in mind that your daily calorie burn requirement will vary depending on how many days you select for cardio and strength training exercise. BiggestLoser.com offers an extensive database of exercises for you. Simply find your exercise, enter the minutes you spent doing it, and you will see the number of calories you burned. Below are just a few of the cardio exercise options:

I am 27 year old mother of 3 girls, youngest being 9 mons old. I have gained alot of weight with my children. I have struggled with loosing weight since having my first child, who is 9yrs old. I have tried all diets. non have worked. I have heart trouble and is not able to take diet pills. I want and need to loose weight for my health. I want to be around to see my children grown. I went from 135lbs to 280lbs. I gained 100lbs with my first child and have not been able to loose since. I work everday with people that battle to live and are dying from cancer, etc, that can not help getting this unfortunant disease but I can loose the weight with your help and hopefully live a long health life. I am like a few other people who try to get onto the show. Loosing weight is more important to me than getting the money. Please consider me to be a contestant on your next epsiode of the show.

I will be 60 yr. old this year, & I am disabled, but in the last 3 years, I have lost 170 lbs. I have SLE/RA & a few other Diseases...I gained a lot of that excess weight, while being on high doses of Predisone..I can not exercise very much (especially, not like they do on the show...) But, when I started loosing, weight, due to a side affect of a SLE/RA Medicine, I decided to stop eating, Fried Foods, Sugar, Breads, Potato's...Junk Food, & the pounds dropped even more.....I don't have pictures, but a lot of people that will back this up...I went from a size W/28 skirt/ 3 or 4 X blouses, sweaters, coats, pants TO A Misses/Regular size 14/16 or Large...(Went down 14 dress sizes) but, I find my self still going to the Plus sizes 1st then remembering they DON'T FIT anymore...It is nice to PICK OUT WHAT I WANT TO WEAR, not What I can get into.... PEOPLE, with Diseases, Disabled, can do it too.... If I DID. anyone can........

I watch your show and cry. My son who is only 22 years old is over 390 lbs. and 6 feet tall. His weight has him depressed and stopping him from living. I believe if he was on your show it would give him the incentive he needs to live and at least try to loose weight. Would you at least consider him for your next show.. Maybe of young men needing to loose weight for the theme. His stomach hangs over his pants like a T-shirt and I know even though me makes jokes about it.. he is embarrassed ... he stays in the house most of the time, and eats through out the nite. Please help him....

This has been the BEST season of the Biggest Loser! This season, there has been so much harmony toward the end of the show amongst the contestants! There is still a great deal of competition, but there is alot of concern for the other contestants, and that is so much fun to watch!! The younger girls on the show showed a great deal of immaturity, and now that they are gone the harmony is Great! I love this show!!!!
