The Biggest Loser TV show has garnered countless fans and inspired those that want to lose weight. Most people feel that they could never get cast on the show, but there are ways that you can follow along with the contestants and create your own success story. BiggestLoser.com, formerly known as Biggest Loser Club, is an online version of the diet and exercise program that the contestants follow at the Biggest Loser ranch. Trainer Bob Harper, a renowned personal trainer, says that those following the home-version likely will not realize the same results as those on the show simply due to circumstance. The contestants are in a highly focused environment for 12 weeks or more, without influence of typical daily stressors like children, work and chores.
BiggestLoser.com's online tools give you specialized menus based on your preferences and tracks your exercise. You won’t have to eat anything you don’t like while on this program, which is a plus. You will be eating three meals and three snacks each day so hunger shouldn’t be a problem either. For your meals, there are included recipes and a tie in so that you can move meals to your food journal. You don’t have to count calories, carbohydrates or fat when following the Biggest Loser diet.
All of the numbers are worked out for you based on the information you provide in the online dashboard. If you are looking for a vegetarian meal plan or want to exclude certain things from your diet, those options are available. There are charts to keep up with your progress and message boards so that you can chat with other members. You will also find videos and motivational articles throughout the site. With each new season of the show, BiggestLoser.com stays updated with the contestants and trainers.
The Biggest Loser TV show has continued to grow in popularity with each season as contestants work to lose weight and become the winner of the coveted $250,000 grand prize. The winner is the person who loses the highest percentage of weight at the end of the season. There is also an at-home prize of $100,000 that the eliminated contestants compete for.
The Biggest Loser season 14 premiered in January 2013 with trainers Bob Harper, Jillian Michaels, and Dolvett Quince and a new batch of 18 contestants. For the first time ever, three of those contestants are teens. The program has grown in popularity so much that there are versions of the show airing in numerous other countries around the world.
Those who want the full Biggest Loser experience can also check out the Biggest Loser Resort with locations in Ivins, Utah, Malibu, California, and Niagra, New York.

You can select the weekly view so that you know what you will be eating in the days to come and can shop accordingly. The site offers a shopping list so that you know exactly which foods to purchase to prepare all of your meals each week. There is a daily analysis breakdown on the site for your meals, this shows the target ranges for your calories, carbs, fiber, protein, fat and sodium.
You'll also have access to many delicious healthy recipes that are enjoyed by the show's contestants, most of which can be found in the show's series of cookbooks developed by Chef Devin Alexander. Some of these tempting dishes include:
To personalize your plan on BiggestLoser.com, you can select which days you want to do cardio and which days you want to strength train. It is recommended that you avoid strength training on consecutive days though. Your workout assignments will be directly based on the information you enter. Just like with the diet preferences, you can change your fitness preferences at any time. You are able to choose your cardio and strength training exercises. The amount of calories you should burn during your workout is listed so you can select anything that will help you burn that amount of calories.
There is a tutorial on how to choose the proper exercise. This tutorial will help you choose the proper intensity and determine the proper heart rate range for your workout. Keep in mind that your daily calorie burn requirement will vary depending on how many days you select for cardio and strength training exercise. BiggestLoser.com offers an extensive database of exercises for you. Simply find your exercise, enter the minutes you spent doing it, and you will see the number of calories you burned. Below are just a few of the cardio exercise options:

I was triggered with all the carbs - not enough protein. Not a spicey enough recipe plan, takes a lot of prep. I prefer and do better on lower carb, lean protein, with simple recipes. Plus - have to pay monthly to get ideas - cookbook is very limited and all the books are highly repetitive. My housemate loves it - but she's taking over prep next week - will se how it is then. Exercise help is very good, however, with good feedback from the website.

I think that Vicky wants all the attention, and that was baloney she couldn't jump in the water. And also Heba needs to stop being in charge. She tries to act like the boss. Let's go black team.

NBC needs to get rid of Vicky, she is RUINING the show. Her behavior is disguesting. I love this show and have watched faithfully every season, but this season is getting away from the point of the show, to lose weight! Motivation is getting lost, revenge?? Come on NBC, get rid of the dead weight, literally!

This the BEST CLUB EVER from the BEST SHOW EVER!!! I joined the club during season 5 at 267 pounds. Nearly six months later I'm down to 198 pounds. I listen carefully to the show, read the cookbooks and use the fitness DVD's, even Jillian's workout DVD 30 Day Shred. I watch what I eat (and drink), workout and remember to be positive about the changes I'm made. Hope to see you at the CLUB b/c it will change your life too!

I would really love to be on your show, i think the show is wonderful and very inspiring. I have been over weight my entire life, and this is not the way i want to live any more. I am 5' 5" and weight 225 pounds, i have tried every diet there is to try but failed. I am the mother of two beautiful angels and i want to lose weight more for them, then for myself. I want to be able to run around with them and enjoy a more active life with them. I also want to be around long enough to see them grow up into wonderful adults. I am also getting married next year and i would love to look the best that i can be on my wedding day. Thank you foe taking the time to read my entry and once again i think you have a wonderful show and i hope you continue to inspire other's to do there best.

I am a 48 yr old women, 310lbs. who was lucky enough to be a stay at home mom. Now my teenage daughters are nearly graduating from high school and I want to go back to work, however since I havent worked in sooo long, my weigh gain has taken a toll on my self esteem and my looks. Please I a person who's NOT finacially set (actually struggling), I applied for medical. I dont know what requirements are needed to be on such a show, or that you folks even read this stuff. If you can conform a middle age woman who feels young on the inside but surrounded by being wieghed down I'd appreciate an acknowledgment either way. Sincerely Linda
