Xenical
The prescription-strength pill is not for the casual dieter.
There are many diet pills on the market claiming that their "secret," "proven," "patent-pending" formula is the weight loss answer you've been looking for. But few come with an FDA approval nor a prescription-strength formula like Xenical (also known as Orlistat).
Xenical is prescribed to obese individuals only by their physician and after determining their body mass index (BMI) is 30 or higher (27 if you have other risks like blood pressure or diabetes). Xenical is responsible for helping many overweight individuals finally find success and maintain. Xenical is usually not considered a first choice. Your physician will want to know if you've already tried diets, exercise and other weight loss means, but yet to find success.
So how exactly does Xenical work so succesfully? Xenical works directly in your digestive system and is responsible for keeping 1/3 of the fat you ingest from being absorbed. This is why Xenical calls for a serious reduction in the amount of fat you consume.
- Specially formulated for those that are obese
- Keeps some of the fat you consume from being absorbed by your body
- Prescription strength formula
- Low-fat diet is a must
- Side effects include oily spotting from the rectum, urinary tract infection, tooth or gum disorders and gall stones among others
- Must have a prescription
- Only obese individuals can take this pill
Orlistat is the main ingredient in Xencial. A complete list of ingredients for Xenical is not available. Because this is a prescription only product, your doctor would be able to share the ingredients with you before prescribing.
Your doctor would be able to explain dosage and how many tablets to take daily. This information is not available without having a prescription.
While taking Xenical, you'll follow a low-fat diet (no more than 30% of your calories) that is identical to the diet outlined by the American Heart Association.
Xenical is a 120 mg capsule and is only available by prescription. It is to be taken with meals that contain fat, no more than three times daily. Xenical also encourages taking a multi-vitamin each day.
Xenical is not for everyone. Since it's made for prescription, it's given to those who are most in need.

Horrible. Left me feeling bloated and gassy all the time. Didn't help me stop over eating either. Cravings never went away even with having upset stomach all the time. I would not recommend.

Well ladies and gentlemen yes everything you say is true,,,,. the company states all of this and the med does what it says it will. side effects included. I not only tried it but dedicated to it for 18 months,,,, the results? I lost 87lbs I look better, feel better, and other than my hair thinning out from the rapid weight loss I totally believe in it. I'm a Xenical cheerleader...... GO XENICAL!

I was on orlistat which is the same thing and I had the oil anal discharge and this continued no matter what change I made in diet and still didn't see a dramatic weight loss..... also I lost sex drive... not due to the pills necessarily but uncontrolable anal leakage is a turn off to most.... and I wanted to lose weight to feel sexier... LOL.... irony i guess... but lifestyle change and all... it's still not for everyone... and different people metabolize this differently like I said I aleays had some form of oil leakage unless i ate absolutley NO fat which in that case why even take the pill?... and my skin and hair dried out severly.... I hated it...

At least try to compose proper sentances. Use a spell checker. This thread is terrible.

this pill works, but with horrible side effects, the only pills that definitly work are the stackers with ephedrine. I lost 35pounds with them too bad they are banned now, unless it has ephedrine it is a waste of money. ask anyone who tried ephedrine and they'll say the same!

I paid $150 for a month supply, they did work along with the constant bathroom and shower runs. You cant even cough without having an accident! I had to stop going to the gym for fear of an accident, but I still lost 15lbs, but i stopped taking them cause i couldnt take constant running to the bathroom every 20mins. since stopping i have gained 20lbs! if u can handle the anal leakage then u will love the pill, this is definitly for someone who can stay home allday not for an on the go working person. Everyone is different so TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK

I've been on Orlistat for 1 month now, and yes I agree to start with the oily discharges are an issue, but the whole point is to reduce your fat intake to a healthy level. It's been just over a week now since my last oily episode, the weight is still coming off and I feel great. It's important to realise that this pill isn't a quick fix, it's a highly motivated way to change the way you eat for good and reflect upon how much fat would be stored in your body, had you not poo'd it out!!!

I'm not sure how much it worked for me. I just would hate to see the fat deposits that I would have accumulated had I not been taking this - problems & humilitions & all!
