Im doing it!! Its day three and the scale is showing more than what I weighed before, haha, that was a suprise! 216-220...But I was told its because my body is retaining a lof of water due to the fact my body semi thinks Im starving it... So it will be nice a drop in numbers, but the diet is do-able! The only concern is thanksgiving for me... But good luck everyone!

Hi Jenn, on day 5 I chose steak ( 16 oz. lean). I was brought up on meat and potatoes so steak is my meat choice. I normally cut the steak in half (after cooking) and cut one portion and mix in with the soup and have for breakfast and lunch and the other half at dinner with the tomatoes. I will also have other fruit and veggies throughout the day. seems to work for me. Then on day 6 I will have a chicken breast for one meal, fish for another and soup for dinner. Day 7 I have not done the brown rice after my brother mentioned he had, and it put weight back on so it took him an additional day or two to get it off so I stick with soup, fruit and veggies. I think the key with the veggies is to mix it up. I eat acorn squash a couple times a week, brussell sprouts and asparagus as well as the carrots, celery, tomatoes and spinich (or spring blend) salad. That's my regiment anyway, and I feel pretty good. I have now added treadmill and situps to my day.

Hi everyone...just started this diet on Monday...is working well for me. I have to say my baked potato never tasted so good tonight!! LOL anyways I am starting day 3 tomorrow...I feel great and can't wait to know how much i have lost by day 7. good luck to everyone

I am on week 4 (day 3) and have lost 21lbs with no excercise. I am going to include an exercise routine this week as well. My brother is also doing this diet and is on week 10 and has lost 30. I admit that on the eighth day I go off the diet for one day, eat moderate foods (no fried) and get back on it the next day. I have also cheated a couple times again very moderately (rice cakes, sushi) but return right back to the diet plan. I also add extra celery, stewed tomatoes, mushrooms and green onions to the soup along with about a 1/4 cup salsa for flavoring. My goal is 60 lbs. I personally like vegetables and fruit, so this isn't boring to me.

My Fiance and I tried this diet along with some other girls I know through a forum on the web. I lost 12 lbs and my FI lost 15 lbs at the end of the week. We both felt great and had a ton of energy, it also showed us how bad we really do eat on a regular basis. \n\nThe weight loss was also noticable by others.\n\nFI and I are both very over weight. The others who I know who've tried it who are average weight didn't lose as much, but they did feel better.\n\nAt the end of the week we were really proud of ourselves that we were able to stick to it, even though it was hard at times.\n\nI've actually got a pot on the stove and we are starting again in the morning!\n\nGood Luck everyone!!

I was on this diet for 14 days. I lost 13 pounds and after I have really focused on eating better. I am not able to excercise at this time but have lost 17 pounds to date. While on the diet I had an increase in energy and just plain felt better!

Hey everyone, after a lottt of research, i also decided to go on this diet. Today is a day 1 and i am sticking with the soup and fruits.. The soup really does the job.. i mean, i am sooo full right now. i am really hoping to lose atleast 10 pounds. I tried this diet last year and lost 17 pounds in a week. I did not cheat at all. if the diet says to eat bannanas and milk, then that is what you eat, you don't substitute any other fruit. Do exactly what it says and it should work.

I am on day two of the diet, and its going well....for those of you who don't like the particular taste of the soup- use non fat beef broth instead of chicken noodle, and french onion soup mix instead of whats suggested..they have the same amt. of calories and it tastes soo much better!

I am following this diet (on day 2) can't wait for the potato, however, my soup recipe stated to use 1 package Lipton Vegetable Soup mix, not chicken noodle...
