Help! Am i doing something wrong here. I have been following this diet to the tee and the first 3 days lost 5 lbs and then gained them back ( and was still doing the diet without cheating). I have also been working out so I thought I might be retaining fluids...I must say the soup is evil tasting and I would rather not be torturing myself to gain. Has anyone else had this problem and then drop it later? BTW... I am on my 9th day of the diet, or the 2nd after starting a new week.- Thanks

My husband and i started this diet 11/22 he has lost 12 lbs, i've lost nothing, but... I noticed my pants not as tight. So i think the inch loss is there even tho the scales don't show it. I woke up today and wasn't going to continue but i did because i can tell i've lost inches. I feel great being on this diet and have had no sweet cravings. It's worth the try

I did this diet about a year ago I weighed 130 and at the end of it I weighed 123 *7 pound weight loss* This diet works but it's so hard to keep up with I felt like vomiting everytime I ate the soup! I decided to go on it again because I now weigh 150 pounds due to dining out,lol...I still look okay I just want to lose weight! After the diet I did notice my pants began to fit better and I looked a bit leaner.This isn't a miracle diet or anything you have to change your lifestyle to stay thin don't think you can diet for a week or two and see results it's hard work...Just think of it this way "Do I really want to live like this?" Diet for a year or two and lose weight because in the end it's only a small fraction of your life and your body will thank you! But this diet works I suggest doing it once a month and also continue dieting! =D

I just made the soup today. It is very tasty!! I used a lot of the spices and my husband and I really like it. Today has been easy, only vegies tomorrow might be more difficult, but I'm gonna stick with it. Will write more at the end of the 7 days.

I think you miss typed or forgot a 0 but you wouldn't have the energy to type if you only had 100 calories a day.
Everyone else, I went on this diet just before going on vacation. I lost 10 pounds and kept it off. I want to lose another 10 soo I am going back on it. Try it , be patient, and weigh yourself at the end of the seven days. You will smile.

On day 4 - hate day 4!!!!!! Cant wait till tomorrow - beef day!! Soup is disgusting!!!!!! But been on the diet twice - lost 14 pounds the first time (only lasted five and a half days on diet) Day four of second round and I've lost 15 pounds - no lie!!!! I have been working out everday though - hard! Side note - after diet the first time big time cravings, I ate bad for two days straight - gained 6 pounds back right away. I'm hoping to have a bit more self control when I finish this time, but we'll see. Good luck all!

I too have tried to cabbage soup diet and the only similarity is that you eat alot of soup but the cabbage soup is GROSS...this soup is good but I can tell I will get sick of it easliy. Anyways, I love fruit so today was good but I think you have to have a ton of will power to make it through any diet...and I do not have much will power lately lol. I just dont feel like doing it but I am forcing my self to see if it actually works. I I can hang.. I am using this as a start into eating right from here on out and lose weight gradually ...maybe doing this diet once a month or so. wish me luck~

I have tried the diet twice. I lose 5-8 pounds a week but then I fall back and gain the weight. This time I will try it again for 2 weeks see what happens.I need to lose 15 pounds before the holidays. It is my first day and I am starving...I am going to the gym later , I hope I have some energy left.

OK. This is my first day trying this diet. I have very high hopes for it considering I reallllly need to lose the weight but heres the thing. THIS SOUP IS ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD. does anyone else think is taste like MINESTRONE. its good to the point were i think i messed up on it..lol.

I really need some support..lol I just wanna make sure Im doing this right. This is my 1st days and i've ate cantaloupe for breakfast anf some soup for lunch. ill snak on some more fruit later on and have some soup for dinner. and i doing okay so far?

unfortunately i have nooo scale so i cant really keep track but my body should feel better right? and i should be able to fit into those jeans i threw in the back of my closet by the last day right??? lol i sure hope so

I tried this soup a couple of years ago and lost 25# in one week. The secret is to eat as much soup in a day as you can consume. I did the diet for the first week and did not cheat at all. I decided that I wanted to do it for a second week so that I could continue to lose weight. Much to my dismay I am on day 5 of my second week and I have not lost on e single pound this week. Any have this problem?

This is a quick easy way to lose those few extra pounds. I have used it several times, just before the holidays, before weddings, vacations,etc. Lose weight and feel great. It's awesome. I don't know why they are saying it is sometimes called the cabbage soup diet, as it is nothing like it!

I've tried the sacred heart diet twice. The first time I lost 17 lbs in on week. I went back to my old eating habits and I gained it all back plus an extra 5 lbs. The second time I lost 6 lbs after day 3 and went back to my old eating habits. I gained that 6 lbs back plus an extra 5 lbs. The diet works if you can stick to it. I did get tired of eating the soup. I'm about to go back on the diet for the 3rd time. I've finally reached the point where I'm truly disgusted with myself. It's all about disiplining yourself. I need to eat for nutrition. I've been on the diet for 4 days now and I've lost 11 lbs already. I plan to stick to it this time and once I reach my goal weight I'll reintroduce some low carb back into my diet in moderation. My struggle now is getting into the gym, it's getting cold outside and the last thing I want to do is go to the gym after a long day of work but I also know that keeping myself busy will keep me out of the fridge.

I usually start this diet when I want to lose some weight. It's a great way to drop some pounds quickly and to get your mind ready. I usually only do the first three days - I can't handle that soup, it's disgusting. But I just went off the soup yesterday was day 3. I stuck to the plan and I lost 5 pounds. Today I'm back to eating regular foods - whole grain breads, skim milk, veg/fruits chicken breast and a salad with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. I will not exceed 1800 calories today, and will gradually increase my calaries to 2000 in the next 3 days.

From now on, I will find it easy to eat properly and not binge on junk.

I am SO disappointed!! This is my fourth day and I couldn't wait to wiegh myself. I gained 2 pounds! I did not cheat one tiny bit- I have done absolutely everything according to the plan. I am even walking one hour every day and exercising for 1/2 hour. What did I do wrong? Please someone help! Should I stay on it and continue to try to loose something by the end of the 7 days?
