I am 25 years old with 3 kids ages: 5,2, and 3 months. Before children my weight was between 165-170 and now im 235.6 pounds. I couldnt take it any more!!! So I started phentermine on 9/1/2010 weighing 235.6 and now as of today(which is not even a whole week) 9/6/2010 I weigh 225.3 pounds!!! WOW!!!! I've lost 10 pounds in 5 days! My goal is to lose a total of 50 pounds and I am so happy that this pill has worked for me. I dont crave food at all. Sometimes I forget to eat so I just grab a fruit or a small salad from mcdonald's. :) Its strange to go from a SUPER SIZED BIG MAC COMBO to a small salad and water. But I absolutely love it!!!

I am 39 years old. I started phentermine on 2/12/10 and weighed 229 (ht 5'6). Today (9/2/10) I weigh 168. A total of 61 pounds lost. I also belong to OA (overeaters anonymous) and have expressed to others how much this pill has saved my life. I am a new person now and love life. I no longer live for food, I live to live. I have read all the good and bad about this drug. This drug has been out since 1959. Honestly, if it was all the bad that is being said, why is it still around 61 years later.

I started taking phentermine two-three months ago and i have lost 20lbs. i think it works, and i've also gained muscle due to my consistency in strenght training. the only downside is that my doctors have hesitated me to take it every time i'm ready for a refill in my prescription. it makes me upset because i work out and eat healthy on a daily basis. its changed my life and i'm still in need of losing weight. i'm at 170 lbs now when i started i was almost 190lbs which is very scary. i hope that doctors begin to understand that most patients do not want to stay on phentermine but need it to reach their goal and implement a healthy diet lifestyle.

I am 19 years old mother of one, 5'2 and started phetermine at 164 lbs. 18 months after having my son. I've only been on it for exectly one week now. I have never eaten breakfast but started eating lean cuisiens* for lunch and dinner. Nothing else besides that, ad drinking only water, and fast walk .5 miles a day and do an 8 min abs tape. In this week I have lost 4 lbs, 1.1% body fat, and gained .8% water(due to how much water I drink). But over all I am very happy. In lbs I haven't lost alot, but I can now fit very comfortably in a pair of pants I could barely button at the start of this week. =) I can tell I gained muscle weight too, anther reason why I didn't loose so much acording to the scale.

I love Phentermine! I am only on day 3 and I have already lost 8lbs!!!!! And that's without exercise!!!! For the first time in my adulthood, I am not constantly obsessed with food.

I am able to do important things and fun things because instead of binging several times a day, my appetite in practically non existent.

Starting today, I plan to incorporate exercise into my routine. Light walking some days and aerobic/weight training classes on other days. Altogether, I plan to workout 5 times a week.

I'm 23, 5'3, and I weigh 192. I would like to get down to 120 at this rate, I'll be there by October!

Nearing the end of week three and I've lost 18 lbs!!!!! Have not even started exercising yet but following a very drastically low cal/low carb/high protein meal plan. Its been very hard to remember to eat 5 small meals a day when I'm used to 1 or 2 large meals a day, but I feel better than I ever have. Started at 221 and I'm so excited that at this rate, I will be under 200lbs in less than a week! It's been 10 years since I've been that low! Good luck everyone!

Cori, I went to the MD and was told to eat atkins diet (no carbs) for the first 3 days and then have 2 carbs, 2 fruits, 2 veggies, and 2 protiens as the regular diet while on this med. No salt, no alcohol, and no additional caffeine (sodas - coffee). If you do have alcohol, subsitiute 1 glass for your 2 carbs that day and have no more than 2 glasses a week (you need those carbs) and if you do have additional caffeine, no more that 2 cups a day.

I was 5'1 and 154...only 11 days ago. Ive already lost 13 pounds and am close to seeing the 130's again. Im going to stay on it for another 25 days and then get off for at least a while. I hope to loose another 15-20 pounds.
One BAD thing I found is it will make you very emotional, I took it 6 days straight and was very sad and moody those days and then the 7th day I skipped and felt fine, today I took it and about 2 hours later my sad mood was back,

I would like to say that I started on this 8 months ago. My starting weight was 268 and I am 5' 8". I have lost 75 pounds during that 8 months. I feel 100% better, and do not have the bad self image I used to. I would like to lose down to 160 and feel that is approriate for my age, height, and the fact that I hvae 4 children. Let me clarify that I have not been on the meds for the whole 8 months... actually havent taken them the past 2 months and have continued to lose the weight. Not only did it help boost me into the weight loss, but I have extra special people there backing me up the whole way. I have just over 30 more to lose and feel like I have a new appreciation for food. You dont live to eat... you eat to live!!! Therefor, make wise choices and think lean protein, fruits, veggies, and WATER!!!!!!! Best of luck to all!!!

I started taking the 30 mg pill on May 14 2010 I weighed in at 203 I'm 29 yrs old and 5'3 I have been following a low calorie diet and exercise 30 min a day 4 days a week. I don't eat after 7 pm and I watch my portion being on this pill makes that really easy since I'm hardly hungry. I lost 7 lbs my 1st week and today June 6 2010 I weighed in at 180 lbs !!! That's 23 lbs lost so far in just over 3 weeks. I still have 40 more lbs that I would like to lose but so far I am amazed!! I feel great and have alot of energy. I would recommend this to anyone who really needs that extra help like I did!!!!
