Hi Frankie...I think Phentermine is as good as its gets but thats just my opinion. I have tried many so called "diets" and this is the ONLY thing that worked for me...especially the same day and continously. Also, you have four months so with a low cal diet and light work out, you should do well. Stick to your plan and good luck. And btw congratulations!

I started Phentermine 37.5 yesterday. Although I take 1/2 capsule, I think this thing is working. I can't believe it. I don't feel hungry and no jitters. I have; however, experienced massive chills and a little light-headed. I haven't started working out because I wanted to see how my body react to the pill. Its only been two days so I will probably feel more comfortable pushing myself this weekend.

I think this is a wonder pill...finally something that works almost instantly. I will keep you posted on my progress.

i am 5'4 and have always been a little chunky. My weight was getting out of control, so I went to a weight loss clinc, that my mother in law and sister in law go to, on thursday 02/17/2011 and I weighted 208. That is the most I have ever weighed. I got a lipotropic/b12 shot that day and started the phentermine 37.5 pill the next day. It has only been 5 days since the doctor visit. I haven't weighed myself yet, but I think I have lost some weight. I only drink water now. I don't eat snacks or sugar anymore. I don't excerise at this time, but I plan on starting that soon. I have read a lot of reviews and I hope I am lucky enough to lose a lot of weight.
The first 2 days I only took half a pill (like the doctor told me) and I had a terrible head for those 2 days. I ususally gets headaches anyways, so it didn't bother me. I haven't had a headache since then. It look me a little longer to fall asleep at first, I couldn't turn my brain off and stop thinking for a while, but that has also subsided. My mouth is dry so I am constantly drinking water (which is good). I do not feel hungry at all anymore, I have to force myself to eat. The only other thing I noticed is that I use to remember my dreams every night in very good detail and since I've started these pills, I can't remember any dreams I have.
The doctor office I went to gave me 3 more shots ( to take home and take every week of the lipotropic/b12 ). I have to go back after a month to get another prescribtion for the pills and the shots to take home. I'm hoping I wont have to stay on this too long, but my goal for myself is 130. Thats 78lbs. I'll post when I find out my weight at the month check up.

I started taking Phen on Monday Jan 24, 2011 at the time I was 234lbs ((the largest ive ever been)) and i was shocked when i step on the scale and by Friday Jan 28 I have lost 14LBS!!!! Because of my crazy work schedule I havent had the time to work out or anything but I have changed what i eat, i try to start with a salad and drink 80-100 oz of water everyday, and i stop eatting when i feel full ((no matter how good the food is)) im listening to my body now. I just want to share my story and hope it helps someone. My goal is 160lb and i think i will be there in no time... stay turned for my update :))

Ive been on phentermine for 3 months and have lost 60lbs. i found out that working out is a plus and a negative. it builds muscle which makes it a little tougher for you to see the weight loss but you keep at it and you will notice it and how much better you look when you start looking at your body instead of loose skin sagging you have a tone figure :) i do think staying off a week or so every now and then is a great idea especially if you notice the weight not coming off as easily.

I started taking phentermine 37.5 on october 15, 2010. I started at 203 lbs. As of today when i left the doctors office, i am 169 lbs. 34 lbs in 3 months!!!!! After the 2nd month i could tell my appetite was coming back. BUT thats when you learn to discipline yourself and continue with diet you've been doing and exercising! Good luck everyone!! DONT GIVE UP!!!

I take 37.5 mg of Phentermine prescribed from the weight loss clinic I go to. I dont work out at all. I watch my carbs (35 per day) and dont drink any sodas or eat any bread. I started in Feb 2010, now I have lost 78 lbs. I know I could have lost more, but went off my diet for a few mos. Back on it now as of last week and already 5 lbs lost. Good luck everyone!!!

On the Topamax issue. Yes, topamax melts the pounds right off. But after a year.. you have to go off it for a few months and restart. then it melts pounds again. Then.. when you go off if the next time and try to restart it... IT DOES NOT WORK AND i have gained back every pound plus some. The key is to change your lifestyle while you are getting the boost from these meds. If you do not change lifestyle, then it will only be tempory.
