About two years ago I started taking phentermine 37.5 mg and it worked GREAT. I recently started taking 15mg but im not noticing a big change in my mood and appetite! Im still HUNGRY!!!!! Should I ask my doctor for a higher dosage, I feel as though the 15mg is not enough for me. Less side affects with it but not near as much weight lost as 37.5 mg

Began the P90X routine and have stuck with it. I only saw small results for me, so I started Phentermine Dec17, 2011 at 37.5mg at 168lbs 5'9" to kick start some weight loss. I was losing inches, but not weight. I have been on it for 3 weeks and have lost 8lbs. It curves the urge to eat, had some nights where I could not sleep, mild case of feeling rushed, dizzy after workouts (only because I didn't eat enough), and a tad irritable here and there. Its help me think positive about the weight loss.

I started taking the pill 12-9-11. 37.5mg. I am 5"2 174 lbs. Today is 12-13-11 and I weight 169 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No diet, no exercise. I mean how can you diet when you don't feel like eating. I have to make myself eat, so I won't drop out anywhere. The pill does give you cotton mouth which causes you to drink alot of water; but thats a good thing though. 5lbs in 4 days, I'm not complaining.

I started on Phentermine on June 21, 2011 weigh in at 217 lbs now 175 lbs. I do not take it everyday but I feel so much better with my all that weight off. Shirt size went from X-large to medium and pants from size 18 to 10/12. I eat smaller portions about 4 times a day with healthy snacks in between. I exercise but not as much as I should. Loving the way I look and keep wait for the next 40 lbs for my goal weight.

I started Phen 37.5 mg in March 2010....I weighed in at 254 and taking blood pressure med. In April 2011.. I experienced light head and dizziness. Thought my pressure was up....It was low due to all the weight loss. The Dr. took me off from my blood pressure meds. My weight had dropped to 185. It took 12 months to lose the weight because I did not take phen everday. No phen and blood pressure meds. today. 8 months later and I am holding to the 185. I walk 2.5 miles 3 days a week. Phen worked for me. You have to definitely change your eating habits.

Just started taking Phentermine and so far it is doing it's job. I'm one of those people that is constantly hungry. Food is delicious and I can't get enough. Since I've taken Phentermine, I haven't been craving the junk food. I have probably eaten as much in the last three days as I would have eaten in one day. Not that I ate THAT much, I just really haven't been hungry enough to go find something to eat. I'm really happy. I had tons of energy during my daily Zumba workout as well. Can't wait to see the pounds fall off!

I have been on phentermine since 9-9-11 and I'm down 10lbs! I had little headache the first week but after that I haven't had any headaches and I use to get at least 2-3 a week. I have a thyroid problem and was feel so dead even being on thyroid pills but since I started taking phentermine I feel like me again! And after reading a lot of other people's reviews I was worried I wouldn't sleep but I have been getting the best sleep! Only side affect I have had was dry mouth and little moodiness (easily irritated from time to time). Over all I feel so much better and can't wait to lose more weigh!!

How do you sleep on Phentermine?? I took 15mg for about 4 days, the side effects were fairly mild, but the worst was that I could not sleep. I ended up having to drink, so that I could relax enough to go to bed. I knew I could not continue like that, although I was seeing results. Is there any solutions for sleep aids/sleeping? Should I ask my doctor to decrease the dose? I am currently 5'2 153lbs goal - 130lbs.

I have been using 37.5 Phentermine for about 7 weeks now. I have been very overweight for my whole life. I was 6' 326 when i started. 7 weeks later i am down 28lbs and feel like a different person already. You have to want to change your life when you start this. Everyone asks me if I'm on a diet and I tell them no, I have done a lifestyle change. This is critical becasue diets end and you will more than likely go back to bad habits if your not commited.

My doctor gave me phentermine about a week ago and it absolutely does nothing for me. About three days ago I started taking 2000 mg.of vitamin B-12 with it and it still does nothing! I really thought that this was the final answer to my losing 40 pounds. Help, I do not know what to try next!

I will be starting Phentermine next week 8/29/11 and I am 5'8 and 205 lbs.

To be considered 'healthy' I need to be no more than 170. While that is my goal, I would love to eventually reach 155-160. I live in MD and will be going home for Xmas this year in CA to see all my family. I am hoping to show great results by the time I go home so I can surprise everyone.

I am excited to see results much faster than anything I've ever done in the past. I'm also a little nervous about the idea that I might actually drop a considerable amount weight. It's been almost 9 years (and 3 children) since I weighed 160 and I don't have any idea what I'll look like anymore at that weight.

I've read extensively about this pill, its side effects and numerous results and I am completely willing to dedicate myself to making all the tests and effort it took to get the prescription, worth every minute. I plan on continuing and increasing my exercise and watching my diet to make my 'healthy' goal.

All I have left to say is: "BRING IT ON!"

Second day, have some side effects but am also taking another pill that increases those effects. I expect to level out within the next week. Drinking tons of water, not hungry at all. Like another person wrote, for the first time in my life I am not consumed with obsessing over food. I have energy, but my heart rate is up a little. I am still in the normal range. My blood pressure is borderline, but once my body regulates to the meds, I will be in the gym again. I don't crave junk food or alcohol at all. I do crave salads, and sometimes whole wheat bread or a breakfast bar. I have lost 4 lbs already. I have a LOT of weight to lose. As has been stated, this is NOT a long term solution. This drug is about creating healthier living habits. Healthy food, exercise and moderation in everything. I love it so far.

I am 21 years old, 6"0 and started phentermine at 229 lbs. Started March 2nd and ended May 26th my personal goal was 170 and I made it to 178. Phentermine definitely works, its amazing if used right with diet and excersize it'll definitely help you lose weight. it changed my life, and even off the pill I have managed to continue losing weight with the diet and excersize plan I did whil on the pill. As for side efffects, for me, they were really severe the first couple of days but after that it was barely noticeable. The only caution is, you will lose so much weight people begin thinking you are doing drugs! Very aggrivating! Good luck on everyone starting their weight loss journey. I will tell you this, its much more of an emotional ride rather than a pyschical one. Thus far I have lost 54 lbs and am a completely different person, socially.

I am severely overweight. I am 5'8 and 315lbs. I just started taking Phentermine two days ago. The doctor started me on 15mg for a month and then go from there. I am starting to drink lots of water and getting my eating portions in half. The only thing I still have cravings but I think that is because I am on such a low dosage. My goal? I just wanna lose enough weight to play with my boys. They are very active! I am shooting for 30lbs at first and then go for 50lbs.

Been taking phentermine 37.5 for about a month and a half now. Only down about 7 lbs. :( I eat very carefully and exercise everyday, lift weights and cardio. Seems others have much better results. I am wondering if anyone else suffers from hypothyroidism?? I do and take meds for that as well. Dr said birth control pills may be making it harder for me as well. Any others with experience with this, your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!
