It's not a secret that your psychological well-being and your physical well-being go hand-in-hand for your overall health. When you feel overweight, unattractive or less than satisfied with It's not a secret that your psychological well-being and your physical well-being go hand-in-hand for your overall health. When you feel overweight, unattractive or less than satisfied with yourself, you can mentally struggle to meet daily demands. And, when your mind is stressed and exhausted, the physical effects of that show on your body.

Perfect Body Plan provides detailed guidance for creating a physical activity plan that can help you get in shape, feel better about yourself, and live a healthier life. Ultimately, Pefect Body Plan wants to give you the tools and information you need to create your own perfect body, which is defined differently by each person.

DIET and NUTRITION

Perfect Body Plan is a focused exercise program. There is some advice given for eating a healthy diet, which is certainly encouraged, but less detailed than a diet-focused program.

Some of the 10 Diet and Nutrition Power Tips provided by Perfect Body Plan include:

  • Fill up on protein and multi-colored vegetables
  • Dump refined carbohydrates in the evening
  • Eat small meals throughout the day
  • Make checking food labels a healthy habit

The plan puts a lot of emphasis on vitamins. Perfect Body recommends you consume these vitamins in their natural states, not from supplements. For Vitamin A you'll want to eat carrots and sweet potatoes; for Vitamin C you'll eat citrus and red peppers; Vitamin E is found in whole grains and leafy vegetables; for Niacin you'll eat chicken and fish.

EXERCISE

Perfect Body Plan has a well-designed fitness and exercise program that will certainly help beginners and even the more experienced. The book describes three different fitness plans: Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. Each of these is a one-week fitness regimen. They are designed to be cardio exercises that will burn a lot of calories. You'll combine this with one of two Workout Plans. These are designed to burn fat and use gym machines. Finally, you'll choose one of two Targeted Plans. These are designed to help you work specific problem areas.

Each plan is very detailed, providing guidance for each day of the week (workout or resting) and time allotted for each activity on that day (i.e. jump rope 10 minutes, bicycle 30 minutes, cool down 5 minutes).

Following these plans will have you working out 3-5 days each week with about 30 minutes to an hour commitment.

CONCLUSION

Perfect Body Plan is an ideal program for someone who is interested in losing weight in a healthy manner, slowly and strategically. This is not the plan for those wanting to ditch 10 pounds during a weekend. It's about rebuilding your health, and in turn, a healthier looking and feeling body.

You'll set realistic goals for yourself, and are encouraged to define those with your doctor. Perfect Body Plan allows you to customize the education and plans within the book to best meet your individual goals. The website does not provide any additional guidance, tools, community or information. This is a lost opportunity to better support Perfect Body's customers. While there is some direction given for eating a healthier diet, you'll probably need to consult your doctor.
