We've all heard the singings and praise of the Mediterranean Diet as a nutrition formula for staying healthy and warding off various cancers and cardiovascular disease. For those who don't live in Italy but want to incorporate this eating style into your own health regimen, your life just got a bit easier. The Mediterranean Meals is a new company that delivers meals to your doorstop that adheres to the nuts and bolts of this famed eating style.

The Mediterranean Meals program was created by a medical doctor who just happens to be Italian and also attended culinary school in France before going to medical school. The best part of all is the meals are supposed to help you lose up to 10 pounds in four weeks. Not bad for not even dipping your toe into the Mediterranean Sea.

There are five different Mediterranean Meals plans that you can choose from. The four options are: Quick Weight Loss, Healthy Living Meal Plan, Cardiac Meal Plan and the Renal-Friendly meal plan.

Each of the meal plans incorporates the foods and flavors of the Mediterranean Diet using the Mediterranean Food Guide Pyramid as its foundation for creating meals. Each plan is calorie controlled, low in saturated fat, low in sodium and nutritionally sound. In addition to the prepared meals, your daily meal plan may also includes supplements like whey protein, all-natural energy bars, and vitamins.

When clicked the "try diet now" button, it brought me to a link regarding frozen food available in grocery stores; however, not available in my areas.

Does anyone know the correct website address to order the diet delivery that user Bonnie apparently used?

Kind of disappointing they're shipping "shelf stable food", when the mediterranean diet is so focused on fresh food.

I just want everyone who reads this to know that I finished the 28 day weight loss plan three weeks ago and have lost 15 pounds and I feel great! The meals were extremely tasty and satisfying; it was real food with real flavor. Also, I've been keeping off the weight by following the recipes in the back of the book(which they included in the first shipment), "Eating Your Way to Health; Mediterranean Style," written by the doctor who designed the Mediterranean Diet weight loss plan.
