Check out the review for Mariah Carey's New Diet announced April 2008.

Even though there have been some ups and downs, Mariah Carey's singing career has been successful for almost two decades. Fans also follow her waistline as closely as they do her position on the Billboard charts. It seems as though Ms. Carey is one of the many stars finally conquering her battle with weight, as she revealed a new diet that she's following. It's called the Bleak Diet. Mariah lost two sizes in 2006 thanks to this diet approach.

CONCLUSIONCONCLUSION

Being that Mariah Carey's Bleak Diet is of her own creation, there is not a lot of information available. She's only recently slipped the media details about how she's so quickly gained that impressive new figure. Like many other fad diets, Mariah's Bleak Diet appears to be a quick resolution without any long-term support. It's possible that anyone pursuing this diet would not be able to follow it for long as the food is flavorless, bland and would you leave you with impossible cravings for tastier foods- healthy or not. Many diets offer delicious, flavorful foods within the plan and provide longer-term benefits.

the foods in this diet plan are very healthy, and if you take a day off here and there, for instance a party or holiday,it really isnt that hard to stick to. ive changed my day to day eating habits to this diet, along w/exercise,and ive lost 23 lbs in 2.5 mo. it has to be a life style change to have the long term results- the payoff is good health and looking great!!

This diet is exactly the same as the Susanne Sommer's diet, and almost the same as the Jorge Cruise 3-hour diet. I did this diet last spring, lost 28 pounds (from 154 to 126) and have kept the weight off, no problem. There is plenty of flavor because you can eat anything, just in moderation. These diets have been approved by dieticians, by the way - see the references in the books by Sommers and Cruise.

I have too lost up to 30lbs by eating salads and lean meats. But gained 10lbs back because I quit smoking, it works though!
