Jillian Michaels (born 18 February, 1974) is a fitness expert who gained prominence as a trainer on the NBC weight-loss reality series ''The Biggest Loser'' (USA). Michaels was the trainer for the red team until 2006, when she was replaced by Kim Lyons. She returned in 2007 as the black team coach, competing against Kim's red team and Bob Harper's blue team. Kim decided not to return for the spring 2008 season, leaving Jillian as the only female trainer. Along with Bob Harper, Jillian is also a trainer in the Australian version of the show. She began her career in exercise because she was considerably overweight before her teenage years (though not as much as the contestants she whips into shape now). As a young adult, her mother enrolled her in a martial arts class, which was a new beginning for Jillian. Thereafter she dedicated herself to helping the overweight transform their lives and their bodies for the better.

I joined 24hr fitness and got a trainer. I asked for one more like Jill (mean) and less like Bob (too nice). He almost killed me...LOL

I too have disabling problems, and alot of my exercise has to be in water,,,,I too would like to challenge BL and the trainers to have a disabled group and water exercises for these people....i would love to be one of the ones to be pushed right into that if opportunity arose, i can only pray it would... i like all three jillian, bob, and kim....and as long as i am being helped and taught,,,,and given the opportunity i would take any of them

I saw the biggest loser weigh in live. Everbody looked good. B(Bryan) from the Red team looked great. Kim looked so proud of him. Kae from the blue team looked great also. I have to say B, Phil, and Kae were probably my favorite contestants.

I too am disabled (Had to have back surgery after an assault)and have a heart condition. I'm a diabetic, and an asthmatic. I need to loose 50 to 75 pounds. How do people like me do it when we can't exercise?
