BACKGROUND

Jillian Michaels' knowledge of fitness training stems from years of martial arts and intense personal training. Best known as a former trainer and coach on NBC's hit TV show The Biggest Loser, Jillian Michaels was an amazing motivator, personal trainer and guide to nearly 15 million Biggest Loser viewers every week. Jillian Michaels (born 18 February, 1974) is a fitness expert who gained prominence as a trainer on the NBC weight-loss reality series ''The Biggest Loser'' (USA). Michaels was the trainer for the red team until 2006, when she was replaced by Kim Lyons. She returned in 2007 as the black team coach, competing against Kim's red team and Bob Harper's blue team. Kim decided not to return for the spring 2008 season, leaving Jillian as the only female trainer. Along with Bob Harper, Jillian is also a trainer in the Australian version of the show. She began her career in exercise because she was considerably overweight before her teenage years (though not as much as the contestants she whips into shape now). As a young adult, her mother enrolled her in a martial arts class, which was a new beginning for Jillian. Thereafter she dedicated herself to helping the overweight transform their lives and their bodies for the better.

Hi ,jillian i.ve tried everything under the sun ,even went as so close to getting that belly sugery done. But i watch your show from the biggest loser 1 tell show 9 ,and I tryed so bad to get on that show .But it was 2 late ,at least that's what the H ard Rock Hotel told me. Well i weight 302pounds in Dec 09 and I had a bad gash in my left lower leg almost to the bone ,oh bye the way no i'm not a diebet. thank god. I had a Dream 1 day that you came to my house and showed both me and my daugther that weights also over 300 pound,s that we can lose this weight . I have bad knee's and lower back prob, and neck prob also ,i pray that a miricle would happen that i see u in the near future I llive on s ocial security and it's so so hard to by good product's of fruit's and veg. but i Do eat oatmeal with straberry's everyday in the morring then i try to walk 2 long stop sign,s but i have to stop and bend and rest for `1 min then keep going. please if I ever would meet you it would be a dream come true.

i have a step dad that drinks 8-13 beers a day and uses dip.and has two kids and i dont know how to make him stop.he works in oklahoma 5 out of 7 days a week and comes home on the weekends.my mom has to work a full time job and handle two kids plus me.my mom has alot of stress.i need help on how to make shure my steo dad does not get lip cancer or heart disease.he has gainged alot scence thay got married.Im 13 and if you have any responce can you plz reply...

I NEED HELP, I HAVE TRIED ALL DIETS SHAKES, PILLS, EVERYTHING. I'M JUST FEEL LIKE A YO-YO LOSE AND GAIN AND THEN GAIN MORE. I AM 37 YRS OLD AND WEIGHT 400LBS. I AM TIRED OF BEING TIRED AND DONE CRYING ALOT. I DON'T FEEL SORRY FOR MYSELF. I'M NOT A QUICKER BUT I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I HAVE BEEN TO MY DOCTOR'S AND FOUND OUT I HAVE ALOT GOING ON AND WAS PUT ON ALOT OF MEDS FROM BP TO CHOL TO THYROIDS. I NEED HELP. AND PEOPLE COULD BE VERY CURE AND RUDE. I WILL GO TAKE MY WALKS AND YOU COULD HEAR RUDE THINGS AND REMARKS WHEN THEY DRIVE BY IN A CAR OR WLAK BY YOU. I WAS NEVER THIS BIG BUT I WOULD LOVE TO LOSE AT LEAST 200LBS. I HAVE ALOT TO LIVE FOR. Hi Jillian. I know that everyone shares a common interest of losing weight but I know first hand how it feels to look great and then lose it completely to stress. I'm addicted to all your shows and have wanted to get on one of them but I'm 50 pounds over weight and from what I've heard, that's just not enough. I think we all know how to lose weight but then why is it so hard to do it? I really do think it's a mental thing. Every time I see you on the show trying to find out the root of the contestants problems, I actually cry because I'm trying to find the root problem of mine and can't seem to find it.
I will never stop trying but I hope I succeed someday soon.
