Jillian Michaels (born 18 February, 1974) is a fitness expert who gained prominence as a trainer on the NBC weight-loss reality series ''The Biggest Loser'' (USA). Michaels was the trainer for the red team until 2006, when she was replaced by Kim Lyons. She returned in 2007 as the black team coach, competing against Kim's red team and Bob Harper's blue team. Kim decided not to return for the spring 2008 season, leaving Jillian as the only female trainer. Along with Bob Harper, Jillian is also a trainer in the Australian version of the show. She began her career in exercise because she was considerably overweight before her teenage years (though not as much as the contestants she whips into shape now). As a young adult, her mother enrolled her in a martial arts class, which was a new beginning for Jillian. Thereafter she dedicated herself to helping the overweight transform their lives and their bodies for the better.

I hated this diet it didnt work it is a fake
Everything has been so helpful since Aug. 2008 I have lost 50 lbs. and I am still loosing. I hope to continue to loose another 60 lbs. and get down to 130lbs before I stop. Jillian you are wonderful and I just finished watching the 1st show of the 2009 season and I know it is going to be another good one. God bless you and NBC.
i watch the biggest loser religiously. i weighted 225lbs in june of 2008 now i weight 193lbs its a stuggle right know with just have foot surgery what are some other excercises can i do being cofined to a walking cast for at least 3-4 weeks more(can do walking) i ordered all your videos thanks for your answers

I'm a member of Jillian's website have been for 9 months. Prior to that, I followed Jillian's recommendations via her email newsletter and a body consultation. In total, with Jillian, I've lost 83 lbs. Add to that the fact that I am 60 yrs. old. I'd call her plan a success and would recommend that others try it.
I use her 30 day shed and yeah, it works, but honestly,y outell us to use your diet plan, can't find it any where, it would be nice if YOU do the stuff wwith us, not poor Natalie and your mean. I like the guy better.

Jillian Michaels knows her stuff. I love her book "Making the Cut" and her website. She is the real deal and offers a true and realistic view on fitness. I think she is quite an inspiration. And, of course, she is incredibly beautiful- but that is beside the point.
Jillian you are such an inspiration. I've lost 59 pounds thanks to you and the biggest loser. I've dropped from size 16 to a size 4. I think you are such an awesome person with a big heart! You and the biggest loser have changed my life. Thank you!
think this is great.. however I have a problem as i would love to join and lose as I am very over weight But... I have CFS and can't do the exercies like they do how can I get this program to work for me with hurting me????
I think they should do a season for people that are already healthy, but get them into the greatest shape of their lives. Or help them become trainers. I would watch this religiously.
Best trainer ever. I have tried Jillian's Making the Cut book and it really helps you figure out your personal menu to stay on top of losing the weight you need to. I recommend it to everyone and know people will get results, but you have o be dedicated and honest! Good luck!
I watch the show and am glad Jillian isn't on it as much. The harsh tone she uses, I heard is a big act just like Chef Ramsey uses on his cooks. The writers make her act like that, saying stuff like I am going to break your fingers if you don't do this exercise.
I know it's all a put on, but I do still watch it, just to see how people look in the end.
i tried jillian michaels 30 shred today for the first time, and my friends and i are in sooo much pain. jillian knows her stuff. me and my friends are each a different hight, weight, and body type...and we each turned bright red, were soaked with sweat, and ready to saok and pass out after doing the video...WOW even if you are in shape, try her dvd.
