You already know the Curves name and brand. There's probably one in your neighborhood. This chain of women-only gyms, promoting a quick and easy 30-minute workout, has grown to be the world's largest weight loss franchise. Curves Complete is the weight loss program associated with the Curves fitness centers. Through online tools, its doors are open 24/7, giving you greater access to information and support that will help you stay on track. Originally an online-only program, on December 26th, 2011 a new version of the program with an in-person support component was rolled out.
Curves Complete is built on three main pillars: nutrition, fitness and motivation. It's a 90-day program, with weekly meetings with other Curves Complete members and a private consultation with a weight-loss coach.

"What do I get to eat?" is usually one of the more pressing questions when considering a new diet. No one wants to go hungry or give up anything. It can also be a task measuring all of those calories and fat grams and trying to determine the healthiest meal choices.
There are two phases during the 90 days, followed by a maintenance plan. During these phases participants are taught to choose lean proteins, whole grains and other healthy carbohydrates such as fruits. Healthy fats such as olive oil, nuts and fatty fish are also recommended.You will eat 1200 calories during the first phase, which is the first week of the program. For the remainder of the 90 days, you will eat about 1500 calories.
Curves Complete takes a lot of the guessing and working out of the equation. Each day, you'll select a complete meal plan for the day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks are explained with detailed nutrition information and the counts already added.
A sample of a day following the Curves Complete meal plan could be:
Breakfast- bran muffin, egg white omelet with peppers and fat-free cheddar cheese.
Lunch- Plain grilled shrimp with a green salad and oil and vinegar dressing.
Dinner- White chili with a tossed salad and fat-free red wine vinaigrette.
Snacks- cottage cheese, Wheat Tins and cantaloupe; iced coffee low-fat white cheddar cheese and Wasa crackers
Many of the meal recommendations are accompanied with a recipe, making it that much easier to plan. You're also encouraged to get plenty of fiber, drink 64 oz. of water each day and take a multi-vitamin.
Naturally, Curves Complete incorporates working out regularly at your local Curves fitness center. Women are encouraged to work out four times per week, in addition to finding other ways to move more throughout the day. The workout consists of a circuit of machines, with platforms in between. In between exercising on a machine, you have the option of resting, stretching or adding some more cardio. You also have the option of doing the Curves circuit with Zumba, a Latin-inspired dance. The workout provides both cardio and strength training, and can be completed in as little as 30 minutes. All the machines use hydraulic resistance, which means everyone gets a workout that's appropriate for their fitness level, without needing to reset the machine or change out things like weights.
Members will also be given a pedometer, and are given a goal of 10,000 steps per day, which Curves Complete members build up to over time. Making goal and recording what you've done is also part of the program, and each night you will write down your exercise and total steps for the day.

Fantastic program. Curves in Southlake Texas has been a trememndous support system to me for weight loss. I have tried so many others and this is really working. 20 pounds down.

"I have completed Curves Complete once and am enrolled a second time. The product makes meal planning simple and the coaches I am working with are excellent. I have lose over 50 pounds during the 2 enrollments and am still losing. I highly recommend this program. However, keep in mind you get out of this what you put into it. It does take commitment and following the plan.

With only a few kilos to lose I have often just eaten less food to trim off the excess kilos. But that effects my metabolism and I regain weight. 2 weeks into Curves Complete I have lost cms & weight but most importantly my body composition has improved - more lean muscle, less fat. I needed the discipline to achieve GREAT results!

I just started this 2 days ago and let me tell you this is something you can easily commit to even if you've never exercised or joined a gym before! it's like a gym membership with an added motivational coach, the circut is RIDICULOUSLY easy but you can tell you're getting your heart rate up and that's what matters. I'm going to try to go 5 days a week, heck, maybe even do the circut twice in a row! it's so fun especially for a beginner. I got 60 lbs to lose and my coach at curves is gonna help me through it by motivating and making sure Istay on track. BEST PROGRAM EVER!!! it's worth every penny.

Curves in Coffeyville offers the New Curves Complete Diet Program. Check out what others across the country are saying about the program. The new diet program just started fall of 2011 any of the other comments is not about the new program. There is bad management in every business. You should check out your local club and judge it for yourself not from others bad experience. Not all clubs are created equal.

To cancel a membership you are required to send in a letter of cancellation to your curves facility. This is then taken as 30 day's notice and you may be charged for the up coming month so time your cancellation to a day before your payment due date.

I get in my depression rut sometimes and I have to say that being a member of my Curves has helped me with everything...In Feb 2012 I am joining the curves complete and can not wait to show my friends and family how well it works...I have to say if it works for me it will work for anyone...

I love the plan. You sign up for just 3 months. You don't need to commit more $ then that. But I ended up joining the club as the ladies and results where so great.

Just this month (Sept. 2011), Cuves has updated their "Curves Complete" program- and it is better than ever!! It is easy to customize it to your likes and dislikes, and even decide between simple menus or frozen selections from your grocery store. (With no shipping costs!) Look for the informercials on tv. I caught one this week. It was great!! I've already lost 18 lbs- in only 3 weeks!!

I have been a member for 5 years in Lindsay, Ontario. I can't say enough about it, finally an exercise program for women of all ages and fitness levels that is realistic.
