Akavar

Claims that you can eat all you want and still lose weight.

BACKGROUND Start the Diet Now Advertisement

Akavar 20/50 is a European weight loss pill that has achieved much success. It has made its move to the U.S. seeking the same. Akavar boasts that it is the ultimate fat cure and that you'll see the results you seek without any diet restrictions or inclusion of exercise.

Akavar is designed to restrict your daily caloric intake to less than normal. Without those calories that your body requires for energy, you'll start to use your fat reserves. This will of course cause you to lose weight and inches. However, you'll immediately gain back that weight should you stop using Akavar. The website offers little-to-know information about the product leaving open many questions about the supplement.

PRO
  • Promotes eating all you like and still seeing weight loss
  • Reduces urge to overeat
  • Do not have to count calories
  • Won't feel hungry
CON

Akavar 20/50 leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the more concerning details include:

  • Promotes a lifestyle without exercise and healthy diet
  • No FDA approval
  • Web site offers very little information
  • No published clinical research
  • Does not publish ingredients
  • Contains caffeine
INGREDIENTS

It takes a lot of research to find what is inside those little Akavar tablets, as the product's website bypasses any discussion. Akavar includes many caffeine sources including xanthine and green tea leaf. Other ingredients include yerba mate, guarana seed, ginger root, kola nut, Tibetan ginseng, cocoa nut, rice flour, yellow no. 6, red no. 3 and Gelatin, among many others.

CONCLUSION

Akavar 20/50 leaves a lot of open questions- which really leads to concerns about both the product's effectiveness and impact on the body. With so many diet pills and supplements on the market, it is important for manufacturers to paint a detailed picture of the product to help consumers make the most educated decisions. Many diet pills and supplements provide all of the information that Akavar seems to have conveniently left out. It is also a little misleading that without diet and exercise you can still lose weight. Anyone who has ever committed to losing weight knows that without important changes to diet and exercise, results are often not achieved.

Just out of curiosity has anyone taking the akavar tried drinking just the two glasses of water before the meal without taking the pill. I bet you find that you'll get the same results. Water fills us up and satisfies us when we think we're hungry. Drink 2 glasses each time and cut out night eats and you'll do your body good! And loose weight if you give it four our five days. Your cravings will go away too...Just stick to it !!!

I started Akavar yesterday. Only took 1 pill before a meal. Didn't do too much so I stepped it up today and took 1 in the morning then 2 before lunch. Okay so my stomach is in a knot, I am at work and get bathroom shy if you know what I mean but I've had to go at least 3 times so far. Is that good...? I don't know. I am also on a detox stage where I eat only veggies and fruits. That may have something to do with it. I weigh 143 on a bad day so my ideal weight is 125. So can I lose 18 pounds with a healthy diet and exercise?...SURE. Will Akavar help...? So far I can sense a difference but I'm not sure if what I'm feeling is good. I know we all vary but I hate feeling crappy. I've drank nothing but water. Have you ever drank nothing but water and lots of it to where you feel sickened of the thought of water? Well today I did! My hunger has lessened quite a bit. Will I lose weight?, I am almost positive I will. Do I work out...Not often enough. I have such a busy schedule that I fit in what I can when I can. To everyone expecting to actually eat what they want and still lose weight like Akavar states, You already have the wrong mentality. You should take a diet supplement in hopes of lessening your hunger habits and try to eat better and do more active things. Any diet supplement will help you if you try to stay healthy. The problem with Americans is they think they can be saved from a pill and continue on with their unhealthy ways. Can't be done! You eventually gain the weight back. So discipline yourself. Set goals, use the pill to HELP you lose weight not depend on it being the only that that will make you lose weight! With enough will power you can reach your goals! It's tuff so good luck.

A friend of mine told me she had lost 10 or so pounds on Akavar.I had lost 40 pounds last year but through November and December, I gained 15 pounds back. Disgusted with throwing out the hard work I had done to lost the weight, I knew I had to tighten up and take it back off. But, as discouraged as I was, I kept turning back to food. So, I picked up some Avakat with a Christmas Gift Card (that way i wasn't out any money). I have been using Akavar for about 3 weeks now, and I love it. I have lost 13 pounds and almost gotten to where I was before I slipped up! I snack less, only getting hungry around actual meal times. I definitely feel the energy boost, although have also had a couple of the above mentioned "bathroom days". I am on my second bottle, but I plan on stopping after they are gone and keeping it going on my own. I agree with the others that say you can't believe the "Eat all you want" ad line, but it really does work as a diet supplement. I will post my final results after the bottle is gone.

I have been taking Akavar for 3 days now. I DO NOT drink a glass of water with the pills. I take them the same way I take every other pill. I take it with water and drink normaly throughout the day. I dont know if I have lost any weight yet but I dont feel hungry and cant eat as much as I could before. After I take one it takes about 30 minutes and it feels like all I have just eaten hits bottom and I have to use the restroom alot more. I am sure this is partly what this pill is designed to do. I dont have the jitters and I have not had any trouble sleeping yet. So far I like what its doing for me. Comments about the glass of water being the reason you feel full are false of course as was mentioned before, everyone is diffrent and they will have diffrent results for diffrent people. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can loose the wt. I am looking to loose!!

Hey everyone. I read that someone had asked whether or not someone had been taking AKAVAR for a while and reached their goal weight within a reasonable amount of time. Well, after one of the most amazing times of my life, being engaged, getting married to only find out I was pregnant with my daughter and eventually giving birth to her, I was overweight. I'm 5'3, normally around 115 lbs and after childbirth, stepped on the scale to see that I'd gained about 35 lbs. Before giving birth, my doctor told me with exercise and diet, I'd be sure to lose whatever weight I'd gained in no time, but since I model, I needed the weight to come off quicker so I could get back to work. I had no stretch marks or anything like that. A friend of mine had been living in Europe for a while, and she recommended I try AKAVAR. I hesitantly agreed, because I never really wanted to be on diet pills. Well, not too long after she sent them, my water broke, I gave birth and ended up fracturing my hip, so I was pretty much bedridden and limited to light exercise. I wasn't breast feeding, so I decided to start taking the pills. Well, after a rough first day of going to the bathroom and feeling a little dizzy, it was all good. I lost 6 pounds in the first week without any major changes to my diet and limited exercise. A week later, another 6 pounds. The next week, 4 pounds. And the next and next until almost three months later, and I weigh less than before, I'm 112 now. I have a high caffeine tolerance, so I took both pills with water before I ate. (Children will put you on a schedule, so I knew when I was eating) I also prepared my own food, mostly steamed or baked items. I cut fried food out, but still ate chocolate and sweets, when I felt like it (in moderation). When my hip was better, I began working out, light resistance training, cardio and a lot of power walking. I was surprised at how much I didnt want to eat initially, but I did drink slim fast shakes in the morning...(I've always done that since I dont like breakfast food). My lunch was vegetarian with some protein from tofu or beans, etc. My dinner was a little heavier, like a piece of meat, with rice and veggies. I also love to eat sushi, and I missed it so much when I was pregnant. Besides, any dietician will tell you that sushi is pretty harmless. So that's my story. Now that I'm where I want to be weight-wise, I simply take one pill a day and have seen no problems in gaining or losing more weight. I would recommend that you might the right choice for you, to not take what I did and assume it would work for you...like someone else said, people are different. My advice is that you help the pill along, if you can't exercise either because it's too painful or you are injured, make small changes in your diet. If you dont want to change your diet, make small changes in your physical routine, like walking up stairs instead of taking the elevator, or parking further away from the store and walking rather than looking for a close parking space. I had a newborn baby as a little resistance weight until I was fully healed. That's my story though, hope it helps.

Hi, I just wanted to let everyone know, my week is up and I weighed in at 312.6 this morning. I started out at 321. I officially lost 9 pounds in 1 week. I am so amazed with this product. I can't wait to see how I do this week. I can't wait till I step on the scales and see that 299 under the 300 pound mark. I will update later.

I think its hilarious that 1/2 the people on here can't even spell, and duh, it has caffeine in it! Would you drink 2 cups of coffee before bed and then complain that you couldn't sleep?!
