10 Week Wedding Fitness Plan: Week 6

bride black and whiteDown to the last five weeks of our wedding fitness plan and hopefully you are staying consistent. The name of the game is consistency! I have found that if you are loyal to exercising, it will be loyal back!

Over the past few weeks we have discussed several different styles of exercises and I understand that it may be overwhelming, but hang it there. Again, hard work will pay off; I promise.

black and white brideA new month is upon us and hopefully you are finding success with your fitness goals. Last week we covered combination exercises and I hope you found them to be beneficial to you. This week’s focus is on isometric exercises.

Wedding Season Week 5:

“There are no shortcuts to any place worth going!! Pain is temporary, results are forever; why not strive for perfection!!”

Tip: Every “body” is different; you have to find what works for you!!

The human body is very difficult to understand and finding the perfect workout takes time. Something that works for your friends may not work for you. Keep searching until you find the key to your success.

healthy brideYou’ve made it to week four of the wedding fitness plan! Let’s have a good strong week to finish off the month. This week the focus is on combination exercises. Each week, the level of difficulty of the exercises or movements gets a little harder and a little more advanced. Stay consistent, you will eventually get in a routine and everything will just come naturally.

Wedding Season Week 4:

Tip: Focus on inches lost instead of weight lost.

buff bridesIt is already been two weeks of the wedding fitness plan and week three is loaded with new exercises, turning our attention to dumbbells. Remember to keep getting plenty of cardiovascular time in as well as a low-fat diet. A combination of cardio, diet, and weight training will help you get the results you want in no time. Stay motivated and dedicated, I promise your hard work will pay off.

10 Week Wedding Fitness Plan: Week 2

bridal fitnessWell, hopefully wedding fitness week 1 was a successful week for you. It’s time for a new week and a new you!! Week two is geared toward cables, or “freemotion,” exercises. Week one consisted of machine weights, which are perfect for beginners because the machines control your movement and help you get the most benefits from each repetition. Cables exercises are a little more advanced due to the fact that you control your own movement.

Proper technique is crucial while using cables, so please use the correct weight and pay attention to the correct form from the videos below. Again, I recommend performing two sets of 20 repetitions from the exercises listed below and follow them up with a sweat-filled cardiovascular exercise for 30 to 60 minutes.
